NE / Yr 1 Teaching Position (Fixed Term)

We are seeking a passionate, caring, and highly effective teacher with an excellent understanding of teaching and learning to join our dedicated team.

The successful applicant will have:

• Strengths in literacy and numeracy. Experience with the structured literacy approach (BSLA) and the DMIC maths approach is advantageous.

• The ability to make learning engaging and fun.

• A genuine passion for engaging students in learning opportunities outside the classroom that foster strong community connections.

• The ability to build positive relationships and partnerships with students, colleagues, and whānau.

• A willingness to get involved in all aspects of school life.

This position commences at the start of the 2026 school year.
